Chapter 1: The Morning Whispers. 

The first rays of dawn stretched across the forest as Samantha Squirrel stretched too, yawning wide. She blinked then froze. "Did someone just say my name?" She whispered. All she could hear was the rustle of leaves. But then soft and low came a murmur, like the trees were singing. "Help us"... Samantha's tail puffed straight up. " Trees don't talk," She said. Then, tilting her head, she added, "Do they?"

This book teaches children facing fears and learning that being scared is okay, children learn being scared is normal, courage means moving forward even when nervous, friends make scary things easier.
